Explorer's Evening

Explorers – Parent and Teacher Night

At 7.30 pm on Thursday 10 November Christchurch Explorers are having an evening discussion on the “dys” experience for gifted children (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia).

All parents and teachers are welcome.

Carina Voges from Train the Brain will come to talk with us about gifted children who have a learning “challenge”. Carina has a special interest in twice exceptional children. She will discuss some practical options to help these children in the classroom and at home. This is a great chance to ask questions and chat with others about these important issues.

It is a $5 charge per attendee. We will provide coffee, tea and cake.

The venue will be at Papanui Primary School in the school hall– this will be signposted from the Winters Road entrance – number 40 Winters Road. Please email carol_gray@xtra.co.nz by Tuesday 8 November to confirm numbers attending.
